About
The lives of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter*, asexualsand queers (LGBTIAQ) are characterized by not being seen, misgendered and misinterpreted.
The process of coming out and transition takes at least several years and is usually characterized by deep insecurities.
Little knowledge of the social environment of LGBTIAQ about their life situations leads to misinterpretations in the reflection of their own ideas and feelings towards babies and children as well as to offenses among adolescents and adults.
The meanwhile strongly increased knowledge of lsbtiaq* affirmative research can help in the form of information about the life situation and psychodynamics of LGBTIAQ* to take an empathic perspective on the lsbtiaq* world.
Suggestions for the design of body oriented psychotherapy and counseling with lsbtiaq* clients will create a more effective collaboration and better compliance between counselors and professional supporters.
